Outfitting law pulled?

Postby dams10ww » Wed Jan 15, 2014 9:43 pm

Here is an email I recieved earlier today, maybe we were lucky enough to get it halted? Who knows the emails I got back stated they wouldn't vote for it because of the opposition it had recieved.

Dear Mr.

Thank you for you thoughts on Idaho Outfitters and Guides Licensing Board(IOGLB) proposed rule docket number 25-0101-1201. The rule was pulled because of the opposition. I assume they will re-do the process to meet the expectations of those in opposition.

Sincerely,

Donna

I received a similar response from Rep Steve Miller. However, what I don't understand is whether or not this means that the moratorium simply extends for one year (similar to an evergreen contract) or if it was renewed for X years.

Anyone know the details?

See the other thread: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=401001#p3983610

What was left of the negotiated rule was pulled, but they are still allowing outfitting in policy 2027-2013. We still need to urge our legislators to take legislative action against IOGLB policy 2027-2013.
