WOW!! The Feds AND F&G did something crazy good. 15 dove a day AND a 60 day season!
Duck and dove hunting at the same time is gonna be so great! Good thing I have lots of #6 steel.

I suspect he is referring to the picture below, taken directly from the IDFG Website that explains the dove season has been expanded and the the bag limit changed.

Here is the link, and I also snipped the page and posted below.

Ill be dog gone. Apparently the regulations are going to be reprinted, I called. Hats off because Rika speaks the truth. The website will be updated and new regs are on there way out. Time to stock up on dove ammo. They are some of my favorite birds to hunt.

Just back to the house from water training with the lab across the street on the Snake river.
Quite a few Mourning doves flitting around.
Used to be that I would only do one dove hunt a season, and that the opening day evening.
But the last few years we have made it out at least twice. Don't know what the future holds for this year's dove hunt, but I always know it will bring back all the hunting group together, and plans will be made for the coming waterfowl hunts this fall.
That may be it's biggest bit of importance.

Just made my Day  I got a great Cow tag that runs all of Sept...so figured i wouldn't be dove hunting this season... Ducks and doves in the duck blind may be a new mix
