Any news on Rend?

I haven't been back up there since opening morning. I was thinking of make a trip back up there later in the week, anyone seen anything worth the trip?

chris i hunted there today. saw tons of birds, especially divers killed 2 ring necks. Like i said saw lots of birds! :thumbsup:

ice situation is fine not a problem at rend. killed a greenhead and a merganser today. should have killed more but you know the story...couldn't shoot :pissed: didn't see many birds today though must have been laying low with this snow.

Just wanted to let ya'll know the north part of rend is freezing up. I have been hunting south of sesser blacktop from there south is pretty good. I can't see the sub impoudments killing to many right now.

Well, this morning Turnip patch was frozen solid. Jackies Branch was open enough to launch at. As stated before south of the Sesser blacktop was wide open and north of there was open quite aways, but the Ina ramp was locked up and the field straight across from the Ina ramp is surrounded by 1 and a half to two inches of ice. Saw quite a few geese, both snows and canadas, and a decent number of ducks. Of course we couldn't buy one. Lets hope it warms up and breaks up that ice
