Oakwood?

Postby chrispbrown27 » Thu Jan 12, 2006 12:50 am

So tell me whats been going on at Oakwood. I have yet to make it down there, but I have been hearing that they are killing the mallards down there. I was thinking Friday I may make a run down there. Am I going to be fighting a crowd or has it just been crowded on the weekends?

you are definately going to fight the crowds any day. If you dont know of a hole just wait for someone to kill out and take there spot. Check the rules on when you are supposed to leave the timber :hammering:

I wasn't sure if on a Friday it would be a little more thin because of people working or if they were killing enough birds down there for people to skip out on work. I know a few holes, but they are generally the holes everyone knows about. We're gonna give it a go anyway. Hopefully you are wrong.

Were you hunting on the east or west side of the big muddy? I saw white gm with a boat parked at one of the boat ramps
