I've never killed a banded bird, i've seen a few but never when i'm hunting. Last year my girlfriends dad killed a collared goose with a leg iron. Just wondering how many of you guys got some bling this year? It seems like they're hard to come by this far south.

we killed over 250 ducks this year in our boat and there was not one band killed. we couldn't believe it. you would think with that many ducks you would get a few. o well basically you got to get lucky or hunt close to where they band them. good luck hope you get a band next year....

i personally didn't shoot any but, a couple of my buddies did. One of them shot a hundred dollar reward band. No neck collars though. In the parks around here though there are tons of bands, but none of those come around when you are hunting.
