Wondering if any of the birds are down that way yet?? I know its internet scouting blah, blah, blah... Have a couple of good buddies who have a cabin down there and I was just wandering if anyone is scratching any.

I am about a hour away to the west and over the last week or so have not seen any significant increase in birds. It is snowing a little and it is much colder today then last week so this should change things. I"ll let you know if I see any flocks moving trough the area.

FYI this may have changed but last I knew you have to hunt in your boat at Newton, you can show up to sign in any time but can't put in until 4:30. Just a heads up
