Guide services near canton?

Postby bigdane » Wed Nov 14, 2012 2:53 pm

Hey guys is there any guide services near canton? A hour drive is not a problem. Looking to shoot some widgeon and pintails.

None that I know of yet there is some public ground in the area that could offer a pretty decent hunt just cant guarantee you will shoot widgeons and pintails.

How long you in town? Will be goat hunting Friday or until one is harvested then its off to chase ducks.

I know there is rice lake, what else is around. Don't have to shoot a widgeon or pintail. Just my birds of choice. I'm down for whatever.

I've hunted off the Mississippi in some of the blinds out there before. I will definitely look into these areas. I've been to rice lake before, never hunted though. I hear the water is extremely low in rice lake this year.

Water is low everywhere just got to be careful or know the area. Your chances of getting drawn in are probably better at Banner than anywhere else especially since a boat is not necessary for all the blinds.
