I'll tell it's not a big secret. 4th lake in lake county. I'm in a club that owns the bottom of the lake. Posting from the blind right now. It's slow today. Had to break ice, it closed back up. Had one nice group of mallards come over, the whole wasn't big enough. Flew over the blind at 35-40 yards. I thought they hook back around, they didn't.

I'm not trying to rob a huntin spot. Just more info on migration patterns, so thank you.

DBrooke- I didn't even go out today nor will I tomorrow and Monday. Waste of gas and time at this point. Hopefully this cold front will push more. There are birds on the lake, but no reason to leave it.

As of now I'm on 6 10 hour shifts till further notice so no idea when I'll be hunting again. I'll take the money over birds this year though, just need to rescue my deeks next Sunday before the freeze comes.

At this point, money is better then not seeing a single bird all day. I have six days left to hunt for duck season. Stupid day shift. All the preparation before season means nothing so far.
