Was wondering if anyone has hunted this area and what species are usually taken there?

For ducks: Mallards, teal, and woodies

For Geese: Canadians. I have from time to time seen the occasional snow goose out that way but I've never taken one myself.

I've been out there once. There was a lot of shooting going on...on the other side of the lake.

My advice is to choose the correct side of the lake. The side with ducks!

Well hey guys our group drew a blind at Lake Sinnissippi we had a deep pick at 28 but ended up picking a blind anyway (blind 5). It is a build a blind only site so you cant substitute a boat blind for it. We went to this draw for a backup blind in case we didn't get drawn at the pool 16 drawing but we did and will be focusing our time in pool 16. So here's the deal, we don't need the blind so we are willing to give it away. Since I drew it my name will be on it but the other two spots are open. If your interested please PM me. I will not be selling this so it is first come first serve.

I'd like to hunt there but I know nothing about the river down there.. I don't like not knowing.. I only live maybe 30min from there.
If I ask a question, I don't want your opinion. I want facts.
Don't tell me something you think, tell me something you know.
It's easier to say I don't know, than make something up.
Although, being a forum the next guy will know more no matter what.
