I was thinking about trying to do a little early teal hunting here in southern il. I was just wondering if its going to.be worth my time to go ....dose any one else teal hunt around the cash river swamp? I just want to know if its even worth trying to scout some out come september....a little help/advise wanted thanks.

The Cache is a good area, but every Tom, Dick and Hairy hunt Teal around there. There are a few remote potholes you can walk or boat to, but everyone else knows where these holes are too.
Didn't mean to sound negative, but it seems like every other house down around Ullin has a camo boat and everybody and their cousin duck hunts now.

The feds say duckhunter numbers are declining. Obviously they have never been to the southern zone!
