Illinois is a great state@

HEY ILLINOIS (state of)
I gave you a crap load of money to change titles on a boat and trailer a few weeks ago.
Whats the delay?
Your sticker maker broken?
Spent my money on something else?

I hope Illinois law enforcement understands when I go out with no plates or stickers.
I have papers but they may be wet and illegible by the time johnny law wants to see.
Its ok, right?

Temp permit for watercraft registration is good for 120 days I believe. DNR is massively delayed. Check this link to see where they are at. They are only on second week of April's applications. I will never register a trailer in our state. I register through ME for $99 for 5 years.

If I had it to do over..Arkansas tags trailers once..
Not annual. Same with boats I think.
Now I see why my trailer plate got stole just a week after I put the sticker on.

The boat is going on a quest in Nov. Dec. and January...Arkansas!
AGFC is going to have to understand IDNR is a mess.

THAT concerns me.

You want to hear another thing our "great dnr" did? It used to be only like $10 to register a canoe or kayak for 4 years or something like that and now they got the new "paddle pass" which is $7 over the counter/yearly. At first I thought it was a good thing but I then realized they just want more money since you have to renew every year! What a bunch of BS!

Yeah, I have to buy two in one duck season for my pintail. Expires Dec. 31.
What purpose does this money go to?
The fleet of aircraft?

Apparently there is a $20 late fee for being late paying for your vehicle tags.
Does it work both ways? :hammer:

I've been to 4 or 5 different state license vendors and asked if they could sell me the water usage stamp and none of them knew how or didn't even knew they had them. Teal season starts tomorrow but I don't know now if I'll be able to go because of the incompetency of license vendors and the state not being clear with things. Very frustrating.

I've checked 2 farm and homes, a gas station, walmart, and finally got my stamp from the bait shop in town. I'm in Hamilton, IL (Hancock County) but I live in Quincy, IL during the week because I go to Quincy University.

I wish I could but my brother had the opportunity to get away to Iowa but when we looked at what out of state deer hunting licenses would cost it would cost over $500 to hunt our farm here in Illinois.

I have been waiting 2 years for my renewal stickers on one of my boats. IDNR says they mailed them but it's my fault I did not receive them so I need to send them $10 to get replacements. I told them to shove it. I will not send them another dime. I carry my laminated online receipt in my wallet. Idiots!!!

How well do yankees from Illinois get treated in Arkansas county jails?

By the time you leave for your quest you should be in the system. I emailed the DNR inquiring about my boat registration and hull tags in the spring for a fishing trip. They send me an email with the registration numbers I'd be getting with IDNR contact information if I were to grt stopped. I'm told ( I don't have proof) that Illinois is out sourcing watercraft applications to Tennessee because of the demand and lack of state personnel.

Funny, I just bought a new boat for hunting and picked up a trailer from a guy from AR. I had my Illinois title in 6 weeks and got my tag today.

Good luck and take care.
