I'm not exactly new here, just figured I'd start posting for once.

Just saying hi fellas.

I'm new to this site and hunt pool 16 as well. I just made a name when I saw there was a forum for the state of Illinois and there were some others from pool 16. Looking forward to a good season and sharing some reports.

Teal and woodies are still here and groups of mallards are starting to make their appearance.

We got into quite a few groups of gadwall today. Didn't see any teal myself but definitely still woodies around and mallard numbers are holding steady.

There are still woodducks and teal around but most are gone pretty early. I think saturday might have been decent on the river, wind looked pretty good for divers and thats where most of the shooting came from we heard. Sunday was pretty slow. The warmer weather this week probably wont help much.
