see with guys like KK you already found a place and did the ground work, KK just wants to move in and snag it from you. if you look at some of his posts he has got a ton of places and if he was such a great guy he would offer to take you hunting for serving. if you look up his posts he always one way or another to knock people down. hunting public isn't easy but it can be done ,remember a grain of salt good luck.

Good afternoon Cortina. Thank you for your service sir, we all truly appreciate it. Are you looking to Bow hunt or Shotgun hunt for deer?

I don't need any fields. I have enough.

My time is valuable just as yours is spent at nightly bingo living on welfare. My group justifies and speaks for itself. I don't have room for any more people. Ask the newbies that have posted asking for help. I have offered to almost every single one unless they are completely incompetent and can't type simple answers to questions. Pony up and offer a hand, Sureshot. Not the one you use daily.

Kk has got to be the biggest prick on this site all he does is snoops out on people for spots that's how he gets his.. Go out and get a job you lazy motherfu---- and give this guy a break for Christs sake he was in the marines and is ony asking where some public land to hunt is. KK, it's jack offs like you that make us hunters look bad and a have a bad reputation because you think you're a hot shot with your "ole" wranglers, dip, and gander mountain hat on the side of your head. So fu-- off and give cortina and sureshot and everyone else on here a break

SILHunter, lets go for a brew. Nevermind. You can't. You just turned 17...

1. Prick to a few. Those that know me here understand me. I hate laziness. Pure and simple
2. Never taken anyones spots. I mostly hunt public for majority of the year.
3. I have a job.
4. Hmmm. Put your foot in your mouth.

Waterfowl season is coming 10/27 for Central IL season.
5. Far from a hot shot. Wish I was cool and wore Banded clothing. I have hand-me-downs from the 70s.
6. I never owned a pair of Wranglers.
7. Don't dip. Love the smell though.
8. Only purchase ever at Gander was my bibs. Never bought anything else there.
9. I was helping Cortina. Cortina, challenge me then. Send me coordinates in a PM and post up here if I followed through or not. Careless about your fields or location. I have enough to support my habit.
10. Tone plays a lot in messaging that you can't hear. Sureshot can beat off.

Sureshot, pull the stick out of your a%%, seriously, KK was helping the guy till you spouted off cause you have a hard on for KK for some reason and want to ride his a%%.

Cortina, thanks for your service sir. Yes, there a a ton of rules in IL, if you can get private that's awesome but the people from the city put up some big "bucks" to get the deer land. If you end up going public, I've bow hunted Lowden Miller in Oregon, IL and I've heard some good things about Castle Rock just north of there. Southern IL holds some nice bucks down towards the Shawnee National Forrest if you want to make the drive. Good luck to ya!

it don't bother me what he says .its he puts up a nice long rant of how great and giving he is ,but he still didn't offer cortina a spot to take on a hunt. he seems to forget that guys like cortina are the ones who give old KK the freedom to hunt. if old KK is all that lets see him put up some pics. on how great he is .and walk the walk . cortina let us know if you found somewhere to hunt

Already sent a PM to Cortina to help him. He choose not to respond. I can't take anymore people out. We are full most days. Those that have contacted me know my cell. I do my best once we have an open spot.

There is a significant difference in pictures taken today versus a hundred years ago. We hunters hold our limits around our neck, extend our arms holding kills and even smile. Hundred years ago hunters seemed to have a little different approach than we do today. Thus, pictures aren't for me. Never have been. I rather have pictures of landscape and they guys Im hunting with. Those are the memories I like to keep. I hunt for subsistence and not for the kill. I trade meat often and recover road kill from authorities when offered. Got a Mallard Drake yesterday even. Hunting isn't my intention to kill birds. If I could, I would be in MT or AK away from all our technology and wave goodbye never looking back.

well it looks like Cortina is wise to how you really are and what you say.it really seems like you have NO one to take your picture.and what does road kill have to do with taking a device man on A hunt, you truly should remove that post it is a shame that you put that up and then spew that you don't care..Cortina you should share the PM with us ,[i could only imagine].Cortina give us a heads up on how things are going :hammer:

Most road kill gets pitched, Bigshot. I have enough contacts that call me when animals are located or an animal has to be put down since it was human error in the first place that injured it. Most deer hunters would drool over what I have seen. Eleven pointer was put down during the last rain storm.

C'mon Fellas. No need for all of this hostility.

Sureshot, I don't personally know you or KK so I don't have a dog in this fight, but it seems to me that this whole debate between you guys is getting WAY out of hand.

It sounds like Cortina was looking for some help, and an argument between you two has somehow spilled into this thread :fingerhead:

You guys both sound like decent people, all bickering aside so lets do everyone a favor....Do what you guys may to help the guy out but please, for the sake of the rest of us please put the personal attacks to rest.

I'm have no doubts that both of you guys can lay a few birds down over the course of the season, but an online pissing match will not prove anything to anyone.

Just my $0.02.

KK why do you never answer the questions or admit when you are wrong. why do jump on everybody that replies to a post. we try to help a soldier out and you say we are wrong.i was removed because the boyz over at the fuge could not handle the truth, and that is were you belong .you have a jeep with 11K miles on it ,well mine has over 104K miles on it,try to put out something positive and thing about someone besides yourself .i feel sorry for your family.
