Still plenty of open water North. They have warmer temperatures until this weekend. If they lock up over the weekend, next week could be the start. Seems everything that pushed last Monday never stayed. Last week was slowwwwwwwwwwww.

I hope your right. I hunted all day yesterday and this morning and never fired a shot. Have a place over by BK Leach in Missouri. Coming out of a full moon phase will help but we need birds.

I do scout right in front of my permanent blind on a private lake. I am surrounded by flooded corn and slow is an understatement.

Hmmm. Not sure where you are located. Northern IL is getting birds daily. Geese are finishing very well. Today they were taking their normal turns keeping water open. Most were feeding laying down. Ducks are near perfect and in groups of 100+. Almost four straight days of limits. Poor shooting Wednesday cost me. Resting day tomorrow.

Ha! Sore bicep. Forget what it's like to shoot from layouts when they finish behind.

KK , any snow cover up your way or further north ? Local weather doesn't expand much on their forecasts .

None in the Fox Vally. NW IN has some. About 4" in 24 hours but most melted.
