this is the first year we have a rice field blind
in the past we hunted out of my boat or from the bank of the ponds anyway i was wondering what ya'll used to cover the tops of the blinds looking for some kind of top either sliding or a shoot through type

I prefer openings you shoot through. No flinging open doors to scare the birds. The rice pit i hunt out of used grass mat and we rolled them up to make shooting holes. maybe put them on cattle panels we do that on our blinds as well.

Ive found that a Roll Tops works best for pits. And shooting holes work best for "above ground" blinds. -Gary

cheap and easy is cut some reed/bamboo/cane anything. poke it into the ground at an angle. you just need something to breakup outlines and hide small movements.

this is a little pricy but it works ok. also this is a product you could make yourself with natural vegetation
