DIY Mojo Wing Thang?

Postby jscheirer » Fri Aug 09, 2013 8:16 am

So for hunting mallards in dry fields, everyone always says to have plenty of mojos out. I'm thinking of a cheap and easy way to make something like a Mojo Wing Thang, with just one wing spinning.

Do you guys think this little motor or something along this line will work? The only concern would be finding a small motor with a big enough drive shaft. Any input is appreciated! Thanks

I posted this in DIY but thought that you guys here would have good ideas too.

I would't see why that motor wouldn't work. You can get Wing Thangs for $20 online if you look hard enough, so I couldn't see being cost effective to build one.

Lucky came out with their own version this year. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Hunting/ ... t104459580

Are those lucky duck flashers as good at Mojos? and how long do the batteries last in them?
