Hunting ducks in high winds and rain

They are calling for 20mph winds and rain this weekend. We have seen the ducks feeding in this field in the afternoon. Wondering if you think they will be there in the morning if its raining and its windy.

Yes. They will be there. Keep the wind at your back. Decoys at 15-20 yards. Call the shot when they back pedal. Good luck.

The birds we have been hunting have been anything but predictable, other than they are mostly feeding after sunset. Hunt all day and hope they fly is all i can say.

Depends on how close it is to the roost and if they have a closer feeding option. In high winds they often won't go any further than they have to even if it isn't a premium feeding field.

I would agree with this.
