Morning & Night Hunts

Postby andrew06 » Fri Oct 19, 2007 7:52 am

I've been watching freshly cut corn field for 2 evenings, ducks are coming in before dark like crazy!!! Typically I mostly hunt evenings until it comes to the weekend. My question is - if the ducks are hitting this field hard at night, would they do the same in the morning?

Most generally, yes. The best thing to do is watch the birds work the field as much as you can. You will be able to develop a pattern and then be able to plan a better hunt. Weather conditions will also affect birds using fields.
