Correction....the great pure blacks are being ruined by the release mallard programs!
You Yanks are seeing it far worse than us down here but it is getting more serious on the coast of VA from what I have seen too.
I hate it cause a big black drake is my personal favorite to bag and followed closely by a bull sprig!

Come to Florida. Hybrid Mottle/ mallards are everywhere. It is a huge problem here. My goal is a speck/ canada hybrid. Cant remember which video I saw that in but it looked really cool.



speaking of speck and can hybrid. here in my neck of the woods there is a can hybrid. it looks like it is a snow/can hybrid. it has white on its neck and its feet are pinkish like a snows.
