What affect does the post harvest treatment of a field have on the hunting? Whats best, mow, disk, spike, burn, combo's?

The fields I hunt get burned, then disked. Wondering if the disked field holds residual rice after harvest longer than non disked field, which keeps birds using field longer?

Burned with a couple inches of rain on it. But those are few and far between anymore. Just about everything is flooded and either disced or stomped. I prefer the stomped to disced, easier walking. That's about the only difference.
