Postby REM1100 » Mon Sep 29, 2008 12:01 am

I need some ideas on how to prop up my floater duck decoys in the field as I am sick and tired of resting themin the stubble or building some dirt to hold them up nothing worse than an off keel duck in the field.'...I need an idea quick ,simple & cheap to attatch to the keel to set the deke upright solidly

This is what we did. We cut the keel off so it was just the body showing (it now looks like a regular duck shell). We purchased doll rods, modified the top so a small nail was sticking out, drilled a small hole in the top of the duck shell, and bingo, field decoys.
