Hey Im from michigan and my dad just bought some land out in Iowa and I was just wondering if theres any decent duck or goose spots around down there I would be able to hunt while he goes deer crazy.

Can you be a little more specific about the area you'll be in? County, town, etc.

I'm not familiar with the area, but you should be able to find public areas with huntable lakes through the Iowa DNR's satellite website at http://csbweb.igsb.uiowa.edu/imsgate/introduction/home.asp
The public areas are outlined in gold, and there appears to be a public area with a small lake directly north of Stockport. Other than that, you may want to explore the river, I'm sure there would be some marshes around.
Good luck
