what water frozen out there ????

just wunderin what lakes are froze and what isnt. and if anybody is getting any birds out there.

alot froze up during the cold snap, but thawed back out already
Any day in the outdoor's is better than at work

thanks for the info duckdog,I'm looking at running up to rush for Sat morning for 1 last run and the info definetly helps due to me been runing my butt off in the truck and no time to gett out and hunt for the last 2 weeks ,thanks again duckdog :thumbsup: and have a good day

how did you do hutning rush lake? Was there open water, or not

had to break ice over 2 in. to get out and that was all the way,no open water there and definetly no birds there exept 1 old scared hen phesant that sat next to the boat wile ikept telling the dog to quit growlin at her.but it did suck no birds.wasted a day but deffinetly better than working. :thumbsup:

horse, sorry I gave you some bad info, I had no idea, it was froze that much. I've been back for a week or so now, and the duck numbers just suck now :thumbsdown: . When I came back from Rochester, i seen ducks, and geese the whole way back upto about Fairmont, MN then they just seemed like they disapeared. Typical late seaon duck hunting for us latley. Again sorry if I led you astray, did'nt mean to
