GOOSE BAND #22 - HELP

Postby dukhunter2705 » Wed Dec 28, 2005 11:39 am

I shot a canada goose near Emporia Kansas and it was banded. The only # on the band is 22. There is no other markings on the band at all. If anyone can help me find the info in this bird please let me know. Thanks

I live on a farm near Emporia. I have a pond in my front yard that I keep tame Canada geese on. I put bands on 25 of them. The other day someone snuck up on my geese and shot one. I don't know which one it was but I'm guessing that it was #22 after seeing your post. Some sportsman you are! Not only are these geese tame, but they are also retarded. They spend the day swimming in circles. My 6 year old son Timmy's favorite goose was #22. They grew up together. I hope you feel like a big man killing my sons favorite tame retarded goose. Some people will do anything to get a band. :salude:

Sorry about your loss on a Timmy's web footed friend!!! I guess you should reband another and set him free! You might educate him on what Bigfoot floaters are and what a Zink goose call sounds like. I'll be looking for him!!!!!!!! Great post Kansaswingnut :toofunny: I have already tried the bird band hot line and they were no help. Any other suggestions on where to look?

Didn't you see what he said? He's RETARDED.

What makes you think he would be able to learn about Big Floaters and goose calls?

Guess it doesn't matter anyway now that he's dead, huh?

Murderer.

Timmy's still crying too :'(
