Postby doane25 » Wed Mar 22, 2006 10:38 pm

hey guys, i'm hoping to get a couple leads and some help here. every year my friends and i get out 2-3 times a year to shoot some p dogs. i just found out that the farmer's ground that we always hunt on got sold over the winter. if anybody has any info on some towns, or some people that i could talk i would really appreciate it.

Some friends and I are going to Colby Kansas (About six hours from here) To hunt dogs. 75 bucks a day per person and you have the ranch to yourself, and hunt all day. let me know if you have any other questions.

900 yards w/ 22-250 but it is just as much fun to be closer and pink them with .22 hollos or .17's but the bow thing ....do you want to walk and pick up arrows???

I believe the 900 yards... I forget if it was my cousin or his friend who had a confirmed kill at 1000 yards with his 22-250
The life cycle of a hunter... hunt, eat, sleep if there is time, then go hunt again.

Chuck Norris doesn't go hunting, becasue hunting infers the possibility of failure. Rather, Chuck Norris goes killing.

900 yards is one heck of a shot with any .224 bullet. what kind of setup do you have to reach out that far yellowlab?
