Anybody else have any off season projects that aren't done yet? Dove season starts in less than twenty days and we all know teal is right around the corner I still have to make a final decision on what gun I want to buy but the biggest is getting this layout project done, still gotta re fiberglass the bottom and interior as well as make doors, re paint, test it out and then grass it. I probably won't get anything done next week either, my trainer is going out of town for a week so I'll have her back (NOT COMPLAINING I've been bored without her)

We just have some finaly touches to put on the layout boat trailer we built, and the boat blind we built on my buddys 14'r. Need to get out and bust some pigeons to keep the dogs steady and ready for season.

I really want a layout boat, but keep pushing it off.

I gave up... ther will be no season this year. :crying:

But, I still have a few things to do. Few decoys to finish up, few last second mods on my boat. And the dog has a few more lbs to lose. lol.

I'm about halfway done grassing my layout boat and still need to get a motor for it since my trolling motor quit on me. Still need to register it too, I've been putting it off because I don't want to spend the money on it and taxes but I know I'm gonna have to. I've pretty much given up hope of having a teal season. I'll probably sit it out and spend it with the family since its looking like I'm going to have to put in a lot of time looking for birds during big duck season.

Where are you guys planning on floating boats at? There isnt hardly enough water to make a wave down in my corner.

I have a Dixie 10hp surface drive on the way to go on a 4 rivers ebads that should be done in a few weeks. I have about 30 lbs of raffia to tie on and then extensive testing to do in what little water we have left. The rain dance is a daily occurrence in this household. We need it bad fellas.

I still have to get all my Mojo's flocked, get the new 10 gauge dipped in Nat Gear, get it patterned, get the dog's face painted, wash all my black hoodies, spit shine all the bands on my lanyard, get the stickers put on the truck, buy corn, upload heavy metal on the Ipod so we have something to listen to while setting decoys in the morning, get all my Fowl Life gear bought; and if there's enough time, build some blinds on public and get all my decoys set for the year.

Best of luck to all you wanna be's this year.
