I'm here now, what to do?

Postby topgun splash » Mon Aug 20, 2012 12:23 pm

Hey Guy's,

Been in Kansas for a few days now, mostly around McPherson, but ask we speak,I am sitting in the public library in Council grove.

Just checking out towns and seeing the country, looking to meet a few more people. I've met a couple of great guy's, Mallyard and Jeremyhit, Looking forward to meeting a few more. I know ecatmagoo is close to here and ks-waterfowler is near here too.

I don't normally do this, but if anyone is interested in meeting up, i'm sure Mallyard will vouch for me, I'm a pretty down to earth guy.

Talk to ya soon.
Steve

If you get over to Kansas City area, hit me up. Have been told that Cheyenne Bottoms isn't much to look at right now down around that area.

You should probably pull your cell number down, as the whole world can access this page. If you get down to SE Kansas, shoot me a PM

I'd also pull Mallyard's name down.

Having him vouch for you is like having Jeffrey Dahmer vouch for your local cafe'.

I'm sure at some point I will get your Kansas humor. See you guy's soon, looks like this thing might happen quicker than I thought.

evidently, they don't Waterfowl that much in C.G. So I took the liberty of introducing myself to a few locals, and landed myself a few watersheds already. That, and a couple of deer and turkey spots. Love the people back there, some of the friendliest people I've ever met.

I just wish EVERYONE was as receptive to us moving there? :hammer: :hammer: :hammer: LOL

See ya there!

Come on Mudpack...lol :hammer:

I'm sure anyone who has met me will testify to my charachter.
Topgun is also a very nice guy. Even if he is from California.

I do belive that people are robbing our resources in the state of Kansas. But there are also people that share the same passion and love for the sport. I think that there is both good and bad people out there.
If an out of stater wants to MOVE here and find their own permission with out screwing others. More power to them. Its America, people have DIED that we might have such freedoms.

If anyone of us moved to a different area/state we would appriciate a friendly gesture from a local.
My honey holes, and "secret" spots are kept between me and very few others... Most of them by me and me only. I'm just as protective as the next guy. But, I'm willing to help someone out , and send them in a good direction if they will show respect and integerty.

I hope your son has a great time in Kansas, and I'm excited to see him wack a few dove in a little over a week.
Aim for their lips...

You will never get to legally hunt pigs here. The state does not want a hog problem or hog hunting industry. The wild ones that get a colony started are erradicated by the state.

In case anyone thought I was even half-serious....I wasn't. Mallyard is one fine, upstanding waterfowler who enjoys my highest respect. I hope Mallyard received it in the way it was meant.
