Early season action !

Postby John O`Neal » Tue Sep 04, 2012 4:27 pm

My young friend Curtis is probably the most enthusiastic waterfowler I have ever met. Curtis is a senior in high school this year has already put together his own goose spread and trailer, all with money earned from a part time job. This kid loves to hunt and his energy knows no bounds . I always look forward to hunting with Curtis and his father as his ever positive attitude brightens even the slowest of hunts . Below are pics Curtis sent me from North Dakota this past weekend he and a friend hunted from Wed. thru Sunday there and said it was fabulous . I am truly envious of the kid . Here I am in Kansas burning shells trying to hit those bullets called doves and their in the Dakota`s dropping limits of Canada's. The countdown is on .

I asked Curtis that question and he stated ; "Ridiculous amounts. Crops are super tall and green. You couldn`t drive 500 yds. without there being a little marsh full of ducks. There were Teal in the ditches. "
