Ughhhh, I miss it every year. I would love to but don't see it happening. My wife and I are having our first and she is due in a little over 2 weeks, so I think the drive up there is out of the question, but maybe if I complete quite a few more "honey to do chores" and say I am going to go get our little boy his first Duck Call she might let me go? Might be worth a shot. Anyways, I am sure it will be a great time up there.

I will be up there on that saturday. Haven't decided whether that is a good thing or a bad thing yet. I know I'm gonna blow some bucks.

Captain it's not worth going and missing the birth of your kid for alot of reasons. Your wife would kill ya if your lucky, or more than likely never let ya forget it. lol that would be a bad deal.

Yeah, I would never hear the end of it if I did miss the birth of our first one and went to Cabelas.

Kind of funny, but the one sonogram they thought we were having a girl and I thought well, I will take the little girl hunting, but the last sonogram they said it was a boy. From what I could see as well, it was quite obvious that we will be having a little boy. We have decided on Garrett as the name, and still unsure of a middle name? We are already to go though, just patiently waiting. Wish I would have done a bit better planning though as it's getting so close to hunting season! As long as I help out whenever I can, try to earn some brownie points to exchange for some hunting days this year, that's all I need!

Maybe some of kc boys should come down and do some hunting down your way. Might be a good excuse to get ya out of the house.

In the off season all my buddies give me a hard time about being whipped. I'm really just saving up all my brownie points till hunting season, because I know I'm gonna use it all up.

Garrett is a good name. He'll be hunting with ya before you know it.

Yep, we just had a drs appt and we have another appt scheduled for next wednesday and she said if the little guy doesn't show up this week, they are going to induce the following Mon, or Tues. Sonogram showed he is around 8.5lbs so far, so doing great. Can't wait to have a lil new waterfowl hunter!

I went yesterday so I could avoid the crowd and they where already out of some things... If you want to buy something that might be in limited supply like decoys or fast grass don't wait...

By the way, I spent way to much... thank goodness the wife is out of town when I got home with that truck load.
