Have you looked at mo marsh. or four rivers? Id think you'd want something with a transom.
Good enough for the girls I date.

I don't need a transom. I enjoy paddling through the dark. Or If its to far to paddle Ill load it on the 18 foot flat bottom and then offload when it gets too shallow.

And those brands are so much more expensive. I'm hoping to find something used for 4 to 500. Just missed one in Illinois for 400.

I just bought a used 4 rivers.. 11ft 07 model for $500. Looks like its never been in the water. I thought it was a steal. Now trying to figure out what type of motor i want to run on that bad boy!! I know its rated for a 2.5ph but I see people running 5 to 6.5 horses on them. Anyone have suggestions?

I looked at the stealths.. almost did it, but i canged my mind when i read all the reivews and like about the 4 rivers. I dont think you can go wrong with any type of layout boat tho.. Conceal and seal the deal!! lol

I've decided against the stealth 1200. It's 5 inches taller than other layouts. I'm now looking for a cartsens pintail. It's hard to find a used layout boat 12 -13 feet long and 100 pounds. I'll be patient though.

I know that I had pretty good luck finding boats on kc craigslist. Better luck by posting in the wanted ads vs searching the for sale adds.
