Had a great weekend. great hunts and my son shot his first duck!

Dad, that young fellow needs a new duck call as a souviner of his first duck.

Great job. I took my boys out this weekend too. My youngest first duck hunt and he had a blast shooting teal.

Huntnut, as big as your son is, give him a few years and he will be able to carry all the decoys, shells, thermos, camera, guns, etc and you can carry the calls, and extra batteries for the headlamps. Seriously spend all the time now that you can afield, one of these days he will discover girls, driving, girls, cars, more girls and not have enough time for dad and hunting, In most cases this happens from the age 16 thru 21, then he will eventually come back and wonder, damn I forgot how much fun me and the old man had once upon a time

Yea it wasn't fun trying to find size 15 waders to fit him this year. lol He went out and retrieved every bird that went bdown this week end, I never had to ask. I remember when I was there age and my dad took my out duck hunting, its the best memories I have. He can't go out because of heath problems, but I know he would be out there with us if he could.
