Thurs. ducks ; We are still seeing a lot of ducks, but without a doubt they have become more acclimated to their new surroundings . They have only been here for a couple days so it`s hard to believe they fall into the category of stale ducks but none the less they were much more reluctant to commit today, than they were on tues. We made a couple of adjustments to the spread to accommodate the SW wind we had but it was late morning before we started finishing birds . We eventually filled out but it was definitely more of a challenge than what we had faced earlier in the week. Our buddy Mike went back to our spot the next morning and never saw a duck .Go figure ? No complaints though ,we had two great hunts this week and looking forward to many more .

Good to see some guys having some success. I had a good mid day hunt today. The wind seemed to keep the birds flying and they were finishing well despite the pressure. It's nice to shoot greenheads in short sleeves too.
