Ditch Parrots

Postby T Man » Wed Nov 20, 2013 8:33 am

Went out this weekend and did much better than expected. I closed out my limit with my grandpa's old 16 right before lunch on sat. I ended up shooting 7 over the entire weekend and our group took around 30. All but a few of the birds were yearlings. We did push a ton of hens which was a reassuring sign.

Nice bunch of birds, glad to see you found lots of hens, we hunted 2000 acres of prime ground NW of Great Bend opening weekend and only saw maybe 40 hens , lots of concern for the future out there.
If you're there for the limit, you're there for the wrong reason
