Duck Hunter's Garage Sale

Postby mudpack » Sat Jun 21, 2014 8:26 am

Put it on your calendar: August 16, 9AM, Great Bend Visitor's Center, 3007 Tenth Street (across from Perkin's).

Decoys, anchors, calls, layout, duckboats, waders, gloves, coats, headgear, stools, ammo, gun cases, spotlights, etc.
NO JUNK! Everything works. This is good quality stuff and priced right. Much of it has never been used.

If this is a success, I will consider turning it into a Swap Meet for next year.

I don't understand why waterfowl wear manufacturing companies don't make a camo sou wester.

Thanks Mudd, I thought you might have a nice used Columbia Widgeon sou wester in the mix

I'm planning on five tables for myself, with excess decoys underneath. Plus two boats and a rack for the coats.
I've invited three buddies to bring stuff but have no definite committments from them other than a walleye boat.
Here's my list of items:
coats
gloves
calls
lanyards
decoys
anchors
anchor cord
shells
facemasks
wader pants
sox
hats
boat(s)
trailer ball, SS
blind bag
magazines
books
matchete
headlights
frs radios
shell belt
waders
spotlights
Herter's catalogs
quiver magnets
wooden decoys
ProGrade gadwalls
layout blind
BIG decoy bag
full body mallards
gun cases
CB radio
dove stools
trailer wheels/tires
groundsaver/camo
deer sled
call tutor
trailer dolly
choke tubes
videos
shooting vests

I'm getting all the stuff tagged and ready for the sale.
A few of you have asked if it would be alright to bring stuff to sell. I say bring it on!!
The more the merrier.

Also, one buddy says he's bringing his 18ft mod-Vee with 36hp (I think) longtail to sell....if you are interested.

Are you going to be selling beer there or do I need to bring my own? It clears my mind when buying stuff I don't need

I'm going to try to get off work for this. If I can I'm going to have a bunch of goose decoys to sell, maybe some other stuff too.
