Just for any of you guys that wanted to know here you go.



(NOTE: Late migratory bird seasons to be set Aug. 25th; early migratory bird seasons listed below.)


DOVE (Mourning, white-winged, Eurasian collared, and ringed turtle doves)

Season: Sept. 1 - Oct. 14 AND Nov. 1 - 16, 2005

Area open: Statewide

Daily bag limit: 15

Possession limit: 30


RAIL (Sora and Virginia)


Season: Sept. 1, 2005 - Nov. 9, 2005

Area open: Statewide

Daily bag limit: 25

Possession limit: 25

SNIPE

Season: Sept. 1, 2005 - Dec. 16, 2005

Area open: Statewide

Daily bag limit: 8

Possession limit: 16

WOODCOCK

Season: Oct. 15, 2005 - Nov. 28, 2005

Area open: Statewide

Daily bag limit: 3

Possession limit: 6

TEAL, HIGH PLAINS ZONE

Season (NOTE -- Season dates approved from the following, depending on final U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service frameworks, issued in August): Sept. 17 - 25, 2005 OR Sept. 10 - 25, 2005 OR Sept. 17 - 24, 2005)

Area open: West of Hwy. U. S. 283

Daily bag limit: 4

Possession limit: 8

TEAL, LOW PLAINS ZONE

Season ((NOTE -- Season dates approved from the following, depending on final U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service frameworks, issued in August): Sept. 17 - 25, 2005 OR Sept. 10 - 25, 2005)

Area open: East of Hwy. U. S. 283

Daily bag limit: 4

Possession limit: 8

SEPTEMBER CANADA GEESE

Season: Sept. 3 - 12, 2005

Area open: Portions of counties around the cities of Topeka, Lawrence, Kansas City, and Wichita only

Daily bag limit: 3

Possession limit: 6

Man, its opening quite a bit eriler this year... It usually dosn't open until mid-late sept. Dosn't leave much time for wackin dove. Oh well, I know a few spots where we can do a little of both dove and teal.. :)
