Anyone been out to cheyanne bottoms lately to see if they have any water? I know that past few years they've been pretty dry. Thanks for any help,

I AM ORIGINALLY FROM AROUND THE "BOTTOMS" AREA AND HAVE BEEN VERY DISSAPPOINTED IN IT THE PAST 4-5 YEARS. SEEMS THAT THEY DON'T WANT TO HAVE HUNTERS COME THERE AS THEY DO NOT KEEP WATER IN THE HUNTABLE AREAS NOR MAINTAIN THEM FOR PLACES TO HUNT. WE'VE HAD ALOT OF RAIN THIS LAST MONTH AND A HALF, BUT WATER EVAPORATES AT 1" PER DAY OUT THERE. SO WHAT WATER WAS STANDING IN THE POOLS (WHICH WAS VERY LITTLE) HAS RECEIDED OR HAS COMPLETELY DISAPPEARED. I USED TO LOVE TO HUNT THE BOTTOMS, BUT WITH NO WATER FOR THE PAST FEW YEARS, I HAVE SEEN A DECLINE IN THE NUMBER OF DUCKS IN THE AREA, AND SINCE QUIVERA HAS ALSO HAD SOME BAD YEARS, THE DUCKS WON'T BE PRODOMINANT IN THE AREA AS PAST YEARS. SEEMS THEY HAVE CHOSEN A DIFFERENT FLIGHT PATH. BETTER LOOK FURTHER EAST FOR DUCKS.
HEY...HAVIN' FUN YET???
