Best way to Scout...

Postby Riverjumper » Thu Oct 06, 2005 10:09 pm

So last year, just before the season got rollin, my buddy and I went up in his dads plane and flew over all the fields and water in the area that we are able to hunt. It was freakin amazin'. We got a ton of good pictures of the bottoms and quivira, and of course some of my little secret spots.

Oh yeah, by the way I am looking for guys to hunt with this season, I am newer to all this but have some great spots.

those are just a few of the pics that I have, I have the full images in high res, and closer so you can see some good spots. just think, thats close to what the birds see, doesn't it look purty?

Best way to go for sure. I am a pilot and I used to do the same thing. It's interesting to see a "Duck View" of what you are planning to hunt. I need to go rent me a plane and do the same thing again soon. Just watch for the geese, or try and see if you can lead the V for them! I have had some near misses with the geese, wouldn't be a pretty site hitting them.
