my weekends are spent at Cheyenne bottoms or quivira. Both by far the best places I have ever seen. It amazing to see over 1million geese get off the water in the morning.

I am in louisburg. I am pretty sure it is only about 1 1/2 to 2 hours away from me at the most. Considering the numbers down there are alot better than numbers around me. Everything near me is way over hunted or you need a boat. I have a boat (I havent turned it into a duck boat yet) but no dog.

I guess I am just in a lucky spot. I came to Sterling College from a big city in Colorado never even shot a gun, now I am hooked on shooting ducks and geese. Quivira is only 20 miles away. My honey hole is only 4 miles away, and my goose field is only 1 mile away. If I were shooting a 10 ga. my wife could probably hear me at home.

This is my last year at school, so I am going to try and hit it hard this season. But it is also my first year on my own, I am having a hard time finding anyone to hunt with out here. I do a lot of "get up and go" hunts. I am out probably about 6 days a week if its cold out. I am looking forward to another great season.

If you have a good spot I will meet up with you and hunt. Your only about 3 hours away. For some reason I feel like traveling this year.
