Sorry its been a while since I have posted, I have been hunting in Arkansas for a while, but today I returned for a good hunt at the trusty pit.

Estimated 150,000 Ducks & Geese using the refuge about 600 yrds away really has been helping us.

today alot of birds worked early, finished with 18 ducks (Mallards,Canvasbacks,GW Teal,Gadwall,Pintails)
7 Geese (3 Snows, 1 Blue, 2Canada, and 1 Ross)

Been a dang good duck season and the geese are really startin to get here (the Canadas) and I cant wait to put the smack down on the snows during CO

Totals including all out of
state hunts and early seasons

Ducks 184
Geese 47

I didn't really see any birds flying this past week. The darn weather just keeps messing with them I think.

You wouldnt make any more out of state trips if you new how bad our hunting in Gallatin county is. Than again we dont have a refuge other than the power plant close.
