Ballard WMA Hunting

Im a disabled waterfowler and heard that there was disabled acsess hunting in Balard WMA. Unfortanatley I can not find any information or steps on the process to hunt ballard. Any help would be apreciated. Thanks in advance

Most of the spots at Ballard are done by quota hunt applications during September each year. You can show up there any day that they are open and try to get in as a standby hunter, but not guaranteed to draw a blind. During the quota application process, they will ask you if you need a handicap accessible blind, if you answer yes and get drawn, you will automatically be drawn for one of the two handicap blinds. If you get in as a standby hunter and the handicapped blinds are still available, you can request one then. Hope this helps. I think they hunt Wed-Sun. each week.

if you do get on a good hunt at the refuge this could be a good outcome. this was day after christmas (little late, yes i know, but i am a newbie on this site.) 16 mallards in little over hour an a half. :)
