I was taking the dog out Monday night and heard a bunch of them flying over the house here in Nelson County heading North... That's the first I've heard or seen any around here... I could hear them in all directions, wish I knew where they were going, I'd love to shot some snow geese...

we have killed around 100 so far hunting the public grounds in barlow. but the snows are deffinately headed north now full throttle. you just gotta be there the days they decide to migrate up the river. and we are using around 600 decoys and alot of times that doesnt even seem enough. we shot 12 sunday and 1 saturday. week before that had a 27 bird day, 6 day, 8 day. couple 2 and 3's. so far havent been skunked yet. just some days they work alot better then others. but we deffinately need more decoys. sunday we ran 200 silouettes, 200 rags, and 15doz shells. I got 200 more rags waiting to be assembled so we are going to try and get them done in the next couple days for this weekends hunt and run a big spread with a couple vortex machines

Nice pics man. congrats on the kills. Do the rags work out pretty good for you? We just got about 400 to use bc there easy to haul, set up and take down, and we got 100 sils and 3 dozen shells not quite the spread you have but Ive got high hope for it. Are there still a pretty good numbers of snows hanging around the ballard wma?

Nice work ccdrake. sounds like yall did have a pretty good weekend over in the show me state. did yall see very many while hunting over there? me and buddies hunted barlow bottoms again and once again not a dang thing. probably saw 25 snows all day. sad situation down there. but pretty cool with all the ducks in the area. saw plentiful amounts of variety ducks. which was pretty neat. like the pics drake. great hunt!

good deal man. make sure you kill em all for us. if we knew our way around missouri a little better we'd be hitting it up, but only area we're familiar with is ten mile pond and otter slough. yall gonna hunt all weekend over there?

I got 3 doz shells I'll sell ya  haha, not really.

We chased them a couple weekends in Henderson, only killed a couple. Had birds last month but it got sparse pretty quick. Gave in early in order to start building the spread and sound system for next season.
