Boat Service/Repair

Postby mox » Mon Aug 08, 2011 1:55 pm

Early Sunday morning we had a nice little storm roll through and take our pontoon down the hill. Blew it off the wheel chock and into an oak tree. Does anyone know of a boat service/repair shop near Cadiz that could give me an insurance quote? Thanks.

Sugar is a mythical place, with unicorns and sugar plum ferries. It's a majestic place. I mean moth8rf^@king majestic. Like a bald eagle getting a hand job from the statue of liberty herself.

You're right. The boat repair shops would tell me to call my body shop and the body shop would say to call the boat repair shop. All I need is an estimate for insurance. Found somebody up in Owensboro. Hopefully they'll be able to get the job done.
I guess the next item of business is to follow the wife's orders and "stop spending money on that piece of junk." The way I see it, that means find another boat I reckon

You better get the dog house nice and comfortable!
The blind thing is looking like the route we might take. not sure if we'll have time to do it this year, but talk of selling the motor for blind building supplies has come up already. then we'll also have to sell the 2k in furniture we put on it 2 years ago. too many honey holes, not enough time...

if you do decide to strip it down let me know. I have a buddy that just bought a used pontoon and all the seats are bad and need replacing. He said after this summer he was going to redo the boat and get new seats.so he probably would be interested in buying them from ya.
