Did you by any chance go through the Horicon Marsh area? I hunted in that area a few years back and they have weird goose hunting reg like the year I was there you were only allowed 3 Canada Geese a SEASON! That and all they do is pass shoot for them.

So why is the layout washed up on the shore with the anchor out? That's what I'm confused about

i just threw the anchor on the bank while i walked to the truck to put decoys up.

i didnt get in the horicon zone. if u get a permit there your allowed 8 geese a season and can only hunt in the horicon zone.

thats because horicon is more of a tourist attraction and also it holds a ton of wisconsins geese and is a vital stop for the migration of many canada geese.

every goose we kill you have to punch out the date you killed it on ur liscense before you handle the bird and then call it in telecheck within 48 hrs

Yep seems that it hasn't changed.

I also had every meal up there in a bar. Seems like every town has a gas station, a couple of churches, and a bunch of bars.
