Well, had an opportunity to bust one this morning but I didnt want his first duck to be a hen. Around 930 we got out of the blind to walk around a little bit and about that time 6 geese flew over the pond but I had no calls :fingerhead:

Hopefully we can go again tomorrow and try to get a greenhead. Anybody have any luck?

That's awesome that you got a youngster out hunting, but why in the world did you not want his first duck to be a hen?!?

It was a tough shot anyways, really he probably had a 10% chance of hitting it. And it was really early so I was hoping we could get some greenheads in. Oh well he still had a blast eating a hot breakfast in the blind and seeing the geese and the duck!
