We got a new place to hunt this year in Calvert but the way it's looking it's going to be a bust. Back in April looked great haha

Absolutely no water in it. It's a slough but the part that we are allowed to hunt has no water in it. Going to talk to a local farmer buddy of mine and see if I can't pump some water in it.

The drought this summer kicked a lot of butt. The pond behind my house is lower than I've ever seen it. On the bright side, I was able to recover over 100 golf balls in the dry shallow end. :lol3:

I'm gonna walk down to it tomorrow morning and see. Heard geese this morning behind the house which is a good indication there is some water in it. Hoping so anyways....if there is hopefully this rain coming through tomorrow night, Sunday, and Monday will top it off for the right level I was wanting it to be.
