My little cousin got drawn for Wolfe Lane for the Sharp-Elva water management hunt...Has any body ever duck or goose hunted around WCBL where this is located?

Yeah my dad got drawn the very first year they had Mallard Point. Wolfe Lane they levee it up last year but allowed no hunting on it and this year since there were so many people who put in for Redhead and Mallard point they decided to open it up but I haven't seen a well on it, nor have I seen any water in it when I have driven by.

It is new. Last year they built the levee and didn't plant anything. It did hold a few ducks at the end of jan last year after it rained enough to flood the field. This will be the first year with flooded corn at that location. I use to hunt it when the backwater got out before they built the levee and made it a no hunting zone and usaually did good. Should be a good hunt. I didn't know they where going to hunt it

Yeah they had so many people put in put in for the sharp elva bottoms that they had to do something so they opened that up for drawn hunt's only. It's got corn planted in it this year, or it did when I was last by there.

No, my dad lives in Lawson and he's invited me and 3 of my cousins for a family outting. First time I have seen/ hunted with my dad and it'll be the first time me and my 3 male cousins on my dad's side of the family have been together since 13 years. My cousin just left the marine core so I am going to be thrilled, even if we don't kill any geese or ducks.
Although it's going to be hard to kill geese if you don't have any deeks.
