Fish Lake in Ballard

Not sure if any of you guys hunt Fish Lake or not but it is loaded down with ducks!! I was down in the area this evening looking at a lease and checked out a few spots at Boatwright and man they got the ducks!! If nothing changes that is where I will be opening weekend!! :thumbsup:

Me either if im not hunting it someone else will be any way. There is alot of places you can hunt the bank down on barkley just have to put in the scouting time. Iv been driving at least 2 days a week to scout.

Just dont forget your lbl permits if you hunt the banks of lbl....They want there share of money!! :thumbsup:

For Sure. Learned that the hard way once. Iv been eying a place not to far from the ferry landing in linton. We should get together and hunt it maybe opening morning.

I was trying to help out too. Linton and south of 68 bridge on barkley has several ducks. I dont know why my post got deleted. Since your the moderator maybe you can fix the one that disapered. Thanx for the help

Ive had some troubles with posts showing up as well. Sometimes it dont re direct me back to the page. Thought it was just my internet. :hammer:

Too bad this thread was wasn't deleted! Lol!!! Matt, you gave way the best spot down there. If anybody goes, make sure to show up for the drawing first.Starts at 4am.

thats a good spot. we shot geese passing over the lake last season.

last lake to freeze also

ahhh boatwright....wish I would have spent some time scouting that place before I ever ventured there one time only to hunt.
Instead of telling my buddy he's a p**** cause the water was "too high" (up to his waist) and the mud was "sinking", I listened to him and ended up hunting a dry field with weighted keel ducks. Seen a lot of ducks flying but they were all probably thinking the same thing...... Dumb f***'s.
I have been thinking about going again this year but this time I am going to go scout it first.

Fish Lake does but the place he was talking about over on Barkley doesn't. It is subject to the rules of the blind draw so far as blind spacing, however.
