How awesome was Cedar Creek Lake this week?

I'm surprised that nobody posted how well they did on Cedar Creek. It was probably a coot festival.

It was the worst opener I have ever experienced out there. On 2 trips out there we killed a greenhead 3 ringnecks and 2 bufflehead. Not too good really. But your right, there were plenty of coots out there.

The Ducks haven't really moved from up north yet. My Brother was in Missouri last week and it's mostly teal and gaddies. The mallards haven't arrived there yet. Without a big cold front blast up north we arent going to see any birds here for a while. I didn't even go this weekend. I'm sure theres plenty of local birds moving around though.
