I too hunt almost exclusively in Henderson and union counties. If anyone wants to put forth a consolidated effort to kill some of these I'm looking for some people. I'd buy some dekes to set up on em, however I alone don't have the budget to get 10+ dozen dekes just for shitters..I have spec/snow calls but this only goes so far. Anyway, if anyone is interested hit me up.

Went to Smithville lake with my cousins and my dad. First time we hunted together in 6 years but anyways we seen hundreds of thousands of snow, blue, and specs. If we had our guns loaded we had a chance to sky bust one group that was about 60 feet above our blind yesterday. I'll post some videos of the geese.

seen alot of specks in ky yesterday all flying high. some buddies shoot em near ballard wma on their lease and we shoot a few in illinois. no big numbers. sometimes decoy good to canada decoys, and they love vortex machines with speck fliers.

We catch ourselves keeping the speck call on our lanyards... flagging with no spinners is the most effective but with a couple thousand live decoys on the refuge, how can a brother compete with that?

I couldn't believe how many were there. We called at a few hundred. Several groups did the slow high pass. But nothing ever in shooting range. But that didn't stop the guys at the next blind from sky busting at them.

When I left, the refuge had about 700 viewable from the road. Maybe 100 snows. But big groups of 50+ constant all day overhead.

You aint kidding man. I think its the simple fact we cant really get em to work that makes me want to get at em so much. :lol3:

I mean dont get me wrong, we screw up and kill a few specks a year that fall in with a bunch of canadas, but thats about as far as it goes.
