Great Time in Kentucky

Postby Riverrunner342 » Sat Dec 17, 2011 7:12 pm

I came home this week to see my family and do some hunting. Great time with
the family. Hunting turned out to be a lot of scouting, some hunting, problems
with boats, and a few unlucky ducks shot. The dogs did great and I was able to
hunt with my son.

Those of you that I have met this week, and those that I have spoken to, I just
want to say thank you for all of your kindness. Everyone has been really great
and I appreciate everything.

Merry Christmas to all and be safe for the rest of the season.

Glad you had a good time in the ole bluegrass. You said you got to hunt with your son. That is awesome. My dad and I had our first morning hunt of the year yesterday, didn't fire a shot, saw several birds and had a great time. I'm sure your son cherishes these times with you as much as I do with mine. If hes not old enough yet, he certainly will soon.

I talked dad into getting out with me this morning. Didn't kill any birds, but it was a great time. Both better than huntin with the pops
Take nothing but pictures... leave nothing but footprints... kill nothing but ducks, deer, turkeys, rabbits, quail, doves, carp, gar, coyotes, hogs...

lol!!!! Im the son, he has had me hooked on this sport for many, many years. Dad didnt get to hunt with my 15 yr old son dueto ex-wife issues. It was a good visit, hunting was tough, but we will tear them up together in january.
